Tibetan singing bowl engraved Buddha 12 cm

Tibetan singing bowl engraved Buddha 12 cm

The History of the Singing Bowl

Their origin would be Mongolian, more than 5000 years ago. They would have been used by Mongolian shamans who would have realized their beneficial vibrations
They were then allegedly taken to the
Tibet and Nepal where the manufacturing, and the metals used, would have been refined

Its benefits

The bowl first acts thanks to sound waves through its vibration, which reach the brain through the auditory nerve. The sounds soothe, promote letting go and plunge the mind into a meditative state .

On the other hand, when the bowl is placed on a part of the body, the vibratory waves will propagate in all the tissues, in particular thanks to the water in our cells.

The benefits are felt on several levels.
At the physical level:

  • reduced muscle tension
  • global relaxation
  • improved sleep

On an emotional level:

  • balancing emotions
  • strengthening the joy of living
  • improving tolerance towards oneself and others

On a mental level:

  • development of concentration and memory (ideal during exam periods)
  • calms the nervous system, promotes letting go

And of course, bowls are particularly suited to stress management at all levels.
